A less well known high tide roost in Redlands, King Street mudflats holds many surprises. Drive to the eastern end of King St. and turn right onto Tindappah Drive, parking immediately on your left. The track to the mudflat is unsigned and somewhat hidden, so a bit of searching is required. Once found, it is only a short distance to the mudflats.
A good place to see: Far Eastern Curlew, Eurasian Whimbrel, Double-banded Plover, Pacific Golden Plover, Black-fronted Dotterel, Red-necked Stint
