Nathan Road Redcliffe

An ephemeral freshwater wetland in the suburb of Rothwell, on the Redcliffe Peninsula. In periods of above-average rainfall, provides suitable roosting and feeding habitat for migratory shorebirds that prefer freshwater wetlands.

A good place to see: Latham’s Snipe, Marsh Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Red-necked Avocet, Wood Sandpiper
