A freshwater lagoon on the southeastern coast of Bribie Is that is intermittently used by a variety of migratory shorebirds. The attractiveness of the site varies with water level in the lagoon and the amount of disturbance on the nearby Buckley’s Hole sandspit (BHBI).

A good place to see: Comb-crested Jacana, Beach Stone-curlew

Interesting sightings: Latham’s Snipe (2026), Arctic Jaeger (2026), Brown Booby (2025), Radjah Shelduck (2022), White-browed Crake (2021), White-fronted tern (2021), Australian Little Bittern (2014), Australasian Bittern (2013), Freckled Duck (2013), Sooty Tern (2013), Sanderling (2007), Pectoral Sandpiper (2006), Red-necked Avocet (2006), Laughing Gull (2003)
