Gregory Road Hays Inlet

Hays inlet is an estuarine area comprised of mangrove forest, intertidal mudflats, saltmarsh and Casuarina forest.

A good place to see: Red-necked Stint, Red-capped Plover, Far Eastern Curlew, Eurasian Whimbrel, Bar-tailed Godwit, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Common Greenshank, Curlew Sandpiper.

Interesting sightings: Gull-billed Tern (2025), Red-necked Avocet (2025), Grey Plover (2025), Long-toed Stint (2024), Little Stint (2024), Ruff (2024), Hudsonian Godwit (2024), Buff-breasted Sandpiper (2023), Broad-billed Sandpiper (2019), Asian Dowitcher (2017)
